Steps during Implementation
Steps during Implementation:
1. Prepare the Requirement and Solution Document, as per the needs of the Customer.
2. Before visiting to Client Side look at the Job Sheet, to know about which Modules to be installed.
PRE-REQUISITES:
Get the Hardware Requirements of the Client System, where our product to be installed.
Things to be deployed form the Client Side,
1. Microsoft Sql Server 2000 or Sql Server 2005
If the Operating system is Windows XP, Sql server 2000 or 2005 Developer Edition should installed in Mixed Mode.
If the Operating System in Windows Server 2003, Sql server 2000 or 2005 Server Edition should installed in Mixed Mode.
2. IIS (Internet Information Services should be installed in the server machine.
3. Microsoft Office 2003 with Access Database.
4. Remote Connection (LogMein or static IP or Team Viewer)
IN CLIENT SIDE:
Implementing Required Components:
Before Installing the Product, install the Required Documents called as Third party Tools. Such as,
1. Run the Setup of C1WebGridV10.
2. Run the IEWebControls.exe
3. Run the eWorldInstall.exe.
4. Install Crystal Report for Report Navigator.
5. Copy the webctrl_client Folder and paste it into INETPUBwwwroot Folder.
MODULE IMPLEMENTATION:
Before Hosting the Modules in Client’s system, read out the JOB SHEET where the Modules to the Client are listed out.
1. Login into newiki.hsenid.lk site, to get all the Copy Projects and DB Scripts corresponding to the module.
2. Check for the Modules Releases and Go through the ReadMe file for each& every modules.
(i) Yellow Icon denotes Modules released with certain limitations
(ii) Green Icon denotes Full Module.
3. Now download the CopyProjects and DB Scripts of the Modules and save it to Common Structure Folder.
4. As per the requirements, we can run the DBScripts in the desired DB and host the CopyProjects from Inetmanager.
FOLDER STRUCTURE:
The following Folders are to be maintained regularly, for further Implementation purposes.
D: /Hsenid/--> Application-->
- Copy Projects
- Database
- DBScripts
- Reports
- DataUpload
Modifications in WEBCONFIG file:
After hosting the HRM module, open the webconfig file of the HRM system and change the Following Values:-
Server Name- Enter the Server Name in which the database is connected.
Schema - Enter the DB Schema.
DBType – Enter the name of the Database whether it is SQL SERVER (or) ORALCE.
DatabaseName - Enter the DB Name.
DatabaseUserID- Enter the DB UserID.
DatabasePassword- Enter the DB password.
Now, open the IE and type the corresponding URL in address bar to check it out for our Hosted Module.
